Lyrics
MR. SPIDER
(Timothy Brickley & David Rheins)
Like Mr. Spider after mating time,
the loving over and his fate resigned.
A sticky satisfaction coats his many legs,
his life is over there is no reason to beg.
He’s done his duty, it’s time to go,
his job is over, now he’s spider food.
It wasn’t terrible, in fact kinda good,
he fulfilled his genetic imperative just like a good spider should
The lesson of the story for you and me,
it’s quite clear, my children, if a little hairy.
We’re only here for a short little while,
time to propagate and satiate and spin the dial.
Time to propagate and satiate and spin the dial.
