GETALIFE (tm)

(Timothy Brickley & David Rheins)

I never knew that you were the king.

I never knew that I was not.

I never knew what I wanted in life.

I took just what I got.

Followed orders from Mom and Dad,

at home, at school and work.

I got a job, got a kid, got a wife.

A regular nine-to-five jerk.

Then I had enough of that – decided to Getalife .

Now I’m starting to craft a plan – hatch a plot and become a man.

Gonna figure it all out – once and for all.

Gonna take off the gloves – and strap on some balls.

I never knew that you were the king.

I never wanted it to be like that, never wanted to be alone.

Never wanted to go away, never wanted to leave home.

I kinda happened all at once and over a long time.

I woke up feeling alone and out of time.

Then I had enough of that – decided to Getalife™

Now I’m starting to craft a plan – hatch a plot and become a man (2x)

Gonna figure it all out – once and for all.

Gonna take off the gloves – and strap on some balls.

Gonna take off the gloves – and strap on some balls.

Gonna take off the gloves – and strap on some balls.

I never knew that you were the king.
